Judy passed away peacefully
Tributes poured in for the much loved and respected artist.
Judy's career spanned several decades both internationally and abroad; she is best known in Australia for being the first woman to twice win the prestigious Archibald portrait painting award and her work is represented in over 60 galleries worldwide.
Judy is survived by her sons John and Peter, grandsons Bodhi and River and great-granddaughter Jala.
Judy’s funeral was held at the Temple Emanuel, Woollahra, where she was remembered by her sons John and Peter and referred to by the former NSW Governor Dame Marie Bashir as one of the 'most loved' of all Australian artists.
